Care Instructions

Hello there fellow Huarache owner!

We know that you are very eager to get into your new kicks, and trust us, we get it. Before you do, please read this to make sure that you are getting the most out of your new favourite shoes!

Like any successful and long-lasting relationship, you and your Huaraches need some time to get to know each other.

They will feel very tight at first but that is normal! We generally find that if you can fit into them, they are the size for you as they will stretch out a half size.

We recommend wearing them for around 1-2 hours a day for the first week. This give the leather time to expand and mould perfectly to your foot. Putting in this ground work will ensure your feet and Huaraches stay happy and healthy.

If you aren't willing to give them time to stretch them please contact us right away so that we can organise an exchange.

As with any pair of leather shoes, in order to minimise wear over time we recommend using leather protector. Yes the shoes are very durable, but to make sure that the colour stays vibrant, we recommend not leaving them out in the sun for too long whilst you're not wearing them.

We know you wont want to be separated from your Huaraches for too long, and we don’t blame you, but if you are going for a swim please leave these puppies on dry land.

Just like us, no two Huaraches are the same. As mentioned, these are handmade – there is no machine to laser guide the cutting or weaving of these shoes down to the millimetre, so each pair is very unique. We should be proud of the individuality of the colour and make of our Huaraches, just as we are of ourselves.

We know that you will love our Huaraches as much, if not more than you love your own children, so please take care of them just like you would your own flesh and blood!
